The greeting banner sits at the top of the board. Tapping it reads the greeting out loud.

Type the name only — “Hello” is added for you. Entering James gives Hello James.

Choose which words sit in the quick row at the top of the screen, so they're always one tap away, whatever tab Amaya is on.

Tap a word to add it to Amaya's board, or remove it again.

Go to Board and tap Edit on an existing word, or go to Add word to create a new one. Either way, choose "Upload a photo" and pick a picture from your device. Photos are stored only in this browser, on this device.

Go to Word library, find the word, and tap Add. It appears on Amaya's board straight away. Tap Remove to take it off again.

Go to Quick words and tap Add or Remove next to any word.

Go to Backup and tap "Download backup". This saves a file with all your custom words, photos and settings. Keep it somewhere safe, such as emailing it to yourself or saving it to iCloud or Google Drive.

Go to Backup, tap "Restore from file", and choose a backup file you downloaded previously. This replaces the current words and settings with what's in the file.

Yes. Customisations are stored only in this browser, on this device, and are not automatically backed up anywhere else. Download a backup regularly, and especially before clearing browser data or switching devices.

Download a backup of all customisations, or restore from a previous backup file.

This clears any custom photos, words and edits, and puts the board back to its original defaults. Voice settings and the About text are kept.
